Every year, NYJTL takes ALL of the youth participants to the US Open Qualifying Rounds in Flushing Meadows, Queens. This is a great opportunity for young kids to see the top tennis professionals in the WORLD to play at the highest level.
With more than 600 entries, the Mayors Cup All-Scholastic Tennis Championships is the largest tennis tournament in the nation. Elementary, middle school, and high school students representing public, private, and parochial schools from the entire New York City metropolitan area have been competing against each other since 1988 in both individual and team competitions.
NYJTL’s annual Summer Gala is held on Wednesday evening, August 2 at the iconic Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, and is a fun and festive evening complete with music, dancing, gondola rides, magicians, and a silent auction. This event annually attracts upwards of 500 attendees from the New York City community, raising funds to support NYJTL’s programs that make a difference in the lives of children across all five boroughs.
